Choosing the right web hosting

The one thing most important in choosing the right web hosting, is to make sure you do a little research, what that means more than anything else is, don’t be in a hurry.

Web sites. Having a presence on the web. Building a web site. All these

are a start, I know, if you’re like me you just now figured it out.

You do need a presence on the Internet, especially if you plan on making money, web hosting can help you do that.

When someone tells you that you can be on the Internet with a web site in 30 minutes making money, they are lying, they make their money off of people who don’t know the facts. They are not being honest.

I have been on the Internet seriously for about 3 years. The one thing

I would like to pass on to those just getting started is how to save

time and money. Saving time doesn’t necessarily mean saving money, free usually means you get what you pay for. If I could help save you money, and I tell you how to pick good programs, then maybe you could save your

self money, time, and heartache.

For example, choosing the right web hosting, they are not all the same.

stop and think. Not all cars are the same, not all phones are the same, web hosting is no different, so in choosing the right web hosting you need to look at a few things.

Start off by writing down a few questions to ask your self,

Exactly what is it I would like to accomplish?
How do I need to accomplish the task?
What kind of tools do I need.

Number three above depends on the answer to number 1,2.

I found out in choosing the right web hosting, not all web

hostings are equal.

Let’s take a look at what I am talking about.

Will you use a wysiwyg(what you see is what you get). Or will you build

your site from scratch with html ( this takes learning time), a

wysiwyg also takes time to learn if you never used one before.

But not as much time as html.

Regardless there is a learning time.

do I need a tracker? I would say yes.

Do I need an auto responder? I would say yes.

Again this would depend on what you want to accomplish.

How about support? Yes definitely

Domain name? Yes again

Can you see where this is heading, mainly to say it is not as simple as some would like you to believe?

I don’t really want you to think I am trying to make it tough on you, but I do want you to know what you are getting into.

I remember the first time I decided to try and make some money on line, I looked around and found this web site, here is basically what it said . How would you like to be on the Internet making money in about 30 minutes. This was a dream come true. But not for me, I was really helping the guy who had the Internet site make money.

To finish this story.

I bought into the idea. $89.00 later sitting at my computer thinking man I am on the Internet. How wrong I was.

I spent another $90.00 bucks calling out of the country to get support.

Now we are at $179.00. I wasn’t expecting this. I tried to emailing

this guy. 3-4 days later he answered. He said I needed a tracker. I did a search and found a tracker, $69.00 so I bought a tracker, the guy who sold me the web site who suggested the tracker, told me I could not install it on this web site. I still have the web site; it has made me absolutely nothing.

I went through a couple more programs; I finally found a hosting company that had the tools I needed. I built my own web site.

I have made money and I feel like I am on my way.
